ATÉPA wants to bet on the petrochemical industry to create 1 million jobs

"We want to create one million jobs in the oil trades […] and for that, I want a last generation petrochemical industry for Senegal," said Pierre Atepa Goudiaby, nicknamed the builder in front of many young people, some of whom wore t-shirts with his own image.

He presented his book entitled "Senegal-Rek, Together for a Refoundation", published by Editions Continentales, at the Renaissance monument where he had made an appointment with many young people.

"People say that oil is a curse, but I say it's a blessing, because God is not going to give you such a resource and it's a curse. depends on how you use it, "he said.

"We are going to stand out completely from the economic model that history has imposed on us, making us eternal suppliers of raw materials, and leaving to others the many advantages of raw material processing. where added value makes it possible to make the most profit, "he wrote on page 85 of his book.

Pierre Atépa Goudiaby said that the proposed modernization of the university Cheikh Anta Diop Dakar he proposed, "will create 20,000 additional beds for students."

In the same vein, he expressed his desire to work towards "the transformation of the current technical high school Maurice Delafosse [Dakar] into a digital university twinned with UCAD, to enable students in literary fields to also be trained in this field ".

"I think the Senegalese are tired of seeing people do politics, without this policy does anything to make them happier," reads on page 21 of this second essay by Pierre Atépa Goudiaby.

Also he said to himself "ready to go down in the political arena", which he "always kept at a distance, for the refoundation of the Republic". But he is quick to point out that he is a member of a coalition that will be in charge "when the time comes to propose a presidential candidate of 2019."

"Senegal our common boat deserves that we dedicate to him our talent, our experience and our skills, to give him everything he has always given us," he added.
