The Socialist Party and its allies want the continuation of the guild of the presidential coalition. In a statement, Benno ak Tanor "reaffirms its commitment and its anchor in the coalition Benno Bokk yaakaar and considers that its consolidation is the best guarantee of stability for the country and constitutes the guarantee necessary for the continuation of the implementation of the second phase of the Pse, the Pap 2 ". This sub-coalition of Bby has granted a "special mention" to its president, Ousmane Tanor Dieng, for "the quality of his management and leadership since 2012, which made the coalition a real quiet force, conscious its historical responsibility in the fight for the consolidation of democratic gains in Senegal and the stability of the country ". Tanor and his allies consider, moreover, that the dissolution of the National Assembly and the coupling of local and legislative elections "are of no interest to Senegal, nor in terms of strengthening democracy or the credibility of institutions" . In this sense, they invite members of Bby and the presidential majority to "show more serenity, solidarity and promote dialogue and consultation within the bodies of the grand coalition." According to them, the interest of the coalition in power is to "maintain the unity of all its members for a good start of this new mandate of President Macky Sall, bearer of many hopes for the Senegalese people."
