Billy Kemper is really the king of Jaws, this monstrous wave of Maui, Hawaii. He has just won at home the Jaws Challenge, one of the three rounds of the Big Wave Tour.
Very moved, Kemper dedicated this victory to his mother, carried away at the beginning of the year by a cancer: "Once again, it's for my mom … If you look at me from up there, I love you, this victory is for you"!
In four editions of this iconic competition, Billy Kemper is in his third victory, but it is still South African Grant Baker who leads the Big Wave Tour.
