November 29 (Reuters) – The New York Stock Exchange ended Thursday down slightly despite the relatively accommodating signals contained in the minutes of the November monetary meeting of the Federal Reserve.

The indexes have turned up after the publication of these "minutes" before returning to negative territory.

The Dow Jones index finally dropped 27.93 points, or 0.11%, to 25,338.50.

The broader S & P-500 lost 5.87 points (0.21%) to 2,737.92.

The Nasdaq Composite fell by 19.16 points (0.26%) to 7,272.44 points.

(These figures are likely to vary slightly again)
