It is during a conclave frames Ads that intend to put in place at the end of their activities, a strategic document 2018-2022 that the wick was dropped. The Director of Ads, Pape Mael Diop, interviewed by the 'Investigation recognizes that despite the state subsidy, the agency he directs is floundering.

"There are difficulties especially financial order and that is why we undertook this work to reflect on a program of renovation of regional airports. It should be known that it is the recipes of Dakar which served as a springboard to the airports of the interior. The opening of the Aibd has therefore created problems " he acknowledges.

"What is important is that these airports can play a role in economic and social, we can have flights France-Tamba, Italy-Kolda … We also need means to ensure a certain level of safety and security "
