Cameroon seeks 7 billion in the CEMAC market

Cameroon seeks 7 billion CFA francs from the Central African Economic and Monetary Community (CEMAC) market through an issue of Bibles, the Bank of African States announces Central Bank (BEAC) in a statement released on Tuesday.
        

According to the Central Bank's chronogram, this issue of securities scheduled for Wednesday, July 11, 2018 is the second of July.

It comes after the previous week last week where 7 billion CFA francs were still sought, a a very successful operation, with a coverage rate of over 300%.

With a maturity of 13 weeks, this BTA issue is short-term and the funds will be used to implement the projects included in the 2018 Finance Act.

Subscribers for investors interested in this fund raising operation are made from the 16 banks of the CEMAC zone approved as Specialists in Treasury Value (SVT) by the Cameroon Ministry of Finance.
