CAN 2021 – Côte d'Ivoire: CAF visits inspection

CAF begins this Tuesday a week-long inspection visit to Côte d'Ivoire, the organizing country of CAN 2021.

"Côte d'Ivoire will receive from 24 to 31 July 2018, the first inspection visit of the African Football Confederation. This mission led by the secretary general of the pan-African institution, Mr. Amr Fahmy, aims to inquire about the existence or the beginning of the realization of the sports, hospital and hotel infrastructures in order to measure the determination of the Côte d'Ivoire. 'Ivory to organize the CAN in three years,' said a statement from COCAN. The CAF delegation is due to meet on Tuesday with the president of the IFF, in the preamble of this inspection visit which will end on July 31st with a meeting with the Minister of Sports, Danho Paulin. The delegation of CAF will visit operational sites (hospitals, hotels, etc.) in the first rank of which stadiums of the five host cities namely Abidjan, Yamoussoukro, Bouaké, Korhogo and San Pedro.
