The French distribution company has signed a partnership agreement with the e-commerce leader for the online distribution of its products
Carrefour will now distribute its products online in three countries, namely Cameroon, Senegal and Côte d'Ivoire. The French trading company signed a partnership agreement with the African e-commerce giant on Monday in the country's economic capital.
This partnership agreement will allow Jumia to sell Carrefour's products online. Both parties have agreed that this distribution will begin in January 2019 in the e-commerce site Jumia.
Established in Douala in recent years, Carrefour plans to expand its network in other cities in the country. Recall that Carrefour is one of the companies of the joint venture Adialea which also counts Cfao.
