Whether they come from Europe, America or the United States, there are countless projects Netflix. The latest announced is entitled Criminal, a judicial series devoted to police procedures. It is a European co-production involving France but also Great Britain, Germany, and Spain.

Criminal – Date
The project of fiction is for the moment in its infancy. Twelve episodes (45 minutes) of Criminal will be shot in the European studios of Netflix, located in Madrid, Spain. Each country will have the right to three episodes.

Criminal – Intrigues
The intrigues of Criminal will be devoted to police procedures, and more specifically to those taking place in the interrogation rooms. It will highlight the relationship and the "psychological fight"which are drawn between the policeman and the suspect.The episodes will be shot in the native language of the countries where they are shot.

Criminal – Casting
For the moment, no casting announcement has taken place. On the other hand, each country has the right to its directors: George Kay (scriptwriter, co-creator and executive producer) and Jim Field Smith (director, co-creator and executive producer) for Great Britain; Frederic Mermoud (director – gears, Ghosts) Antonin Martin-Hilbert (scriptwriter – The Bureau of Legends, White Zone) and Mathieu Missoffe (scriptwriter – White Zone, profiling) for France ; Bernd Lange, Sebastian Heeg and Oliver Hirschbiegel for Germany; Alejandro Hernández, Manuel Martín Cuenca, and Mariano Barroso for Spain.
