Senegalese Democratic Party (MP) MP Mame Diarra Fam has asked Interior Minister Aly Ngouille Ndiaye to hand over to their declared candidate Karim Wade his voter's card, draped in a large envelope.
"Minister, I ask you to give Karim Wade his voter's card that you must pack in a large envelope, because he must vote," said Mame Diarra Fam, Tuesday in the National Assembly.
Mame Diarra Fam also asked the minister about the murders of our compatriots abroad. The honorable says he does not feel the role of the state, lamenting that institutions such as embassies have become "support committees for the party in power."
From 2011 to 2018, more than 85 Senegalese were killed abroad, either in accidents or by murder. On average, more than 12 deaths a year, the president of Horizon Without Borders (Hsf), Boubacar Sèye, had calculated in August. These killings are due to "political crime related to racism, xenophobia or the rise of the far right".
