Did KARIM WADE ABANDON THE COMBAT AT THE WATCH OF HIS VICTORY?
Certainly Reubeuss is not a 05-star hotel. In addition, Karim suffered a special diet in prison. He was isolated in his cell. He had no contact with the other prisoners. During his rare appearances in the public court, he created moments of hysteria, delirium and overflowing because of the prisoners who could not restrain themselves by seeing their "President". Karim had become a political monster brought on by the wickedness of a regime that wanted to take revenge on Mr. Wade through his son. This is the belief of many observers. The multiple violations in the procedure that led to Karim's arrest reinforced the feeling that Macky was only animated by a sense of revenge. Under the pretext of an intervention by Qatar, President Macky Sall decided to release him by granting him a presidential pardon that he had himself refused a few months before.
Macky would handle the release of Karim, alone, with the authorities of Qatar and Me Madické Niang, who allegedly sent a letter of mercy on behalf of the Wade family. In this case, Karim Wade's other lawyers were sidelined. Because it had become a family affair. President Sall travels to Touba and Tivaouane to inform the religious authorities of his willingness to release Karim Wade. Qatar had just succeeded where the marabouts all failed. In his cell, Karim did not measure the discomfort that reigned in the camp of power. He could no longer stay in prison for 30 days, Macky having committed himself to Qatar, Touba and Tivaouane. Karim had the good end in front of Macky who wanted to get rid of a cumbersome prisoner. Misinformed about the real situation, Karim agreed to be released on a condition that his most outspoken defenders denounced.
In any negotiation, you have to maneuver to have all the assets at your side. A week before his release, Karim had all the cards in his hand without knowing it. Before he left Reubeuss, if he had asked to stay in Senegal for at least 15 days to visit his friends and marabouts, Macky would accept him because he was in the cramped and wanted to turn this page. But the actual actor (s), negotiations on the release have not given Karim the real temperature of the country. He accepted all the conditions and left the country on tiptoe leaving behind militants abused, stunned, discouraged, demobilized. Who said that all political battles always end around a table? Karim left Dakar on the night of June 23, 2016 while he was the real master of the game although he was in prison. He freely accepted the diplomatic passport made by the services of Mankeur Ndiaye and went to Qatar.

THE MANEUVERS TO EMMERATE MACKY SALL
Since Qatar, Karim has not given up. He will try to continue his fight since Doha. But he did not know that far from the battlefield, dropped shells could miss their targets. The time he had to take by staying in Senegal in order to thank his family, his activists and his marabouts, Karim will spend in Qatar. He will take the trouble to call several Senegalese to thank them. That's why some of his detractors have nicknamed him "President of Whatsapp". Being in prison, Karim had given a slogan of vote in favor of the "No", in the referendum of March 2016. The "Yes" will win the elections consultations despite the mobilization of "Karimists".
On July 30, 2017, the Opposition still loses the parliamentary elections despite the decisive roles played by Karim Wade from Qatar. Before the parliamentary elections, Wade had received Malick Gackou, Mamadou Diop Decroix and Oumar Sarr in Jeddah. Wade Jr. has worked extensively with the leader of the Grand Party before the parliamentary elections. Will he continue to do it? It must be said that often, Karim Wade is held hostage by a certain political naivety that pushes him to make bad choices or to perform actions at risk. Since entering Qatar, Karim has never left this country. It is these elderly parents who make the trip to visit each other. He does not even bother to make videos to address his many activists who only listen to him. Faced with the difficulties experienced by Senegalese: university crisis, crisis in the rural world, serious violations of the electoral process, arrest of Khalifa Sall, embezzlement of public funds, Karim remains silent. And yet, there are several ways to communicate with Senegalese via social networks. But Karim adopts a process of abandonment and renunciation.
Since Qatar, Karim has given his lawyers a purely legal work on his candidacy and the many appeals he has filed. Mr. Clédor and others had the mission to examine the ways and means to face the State of Senegal who always wanted to oppose his candidacy. So they worked on recourse at the level of France and the threat of constraints by body brandished by the power but also on the legality of his candidacy. With the announcement of the rejection of his registration, Karim and his lawyers will start a legal battle against the regime of Macky decided to block his way to the Palace. But it's a fight lost because Macky never loses before "his" justice.
Moreover, all the failures that he knew before justice, were administered to him by foreign jurisdictions. So Karim Wade should understand that appeals on the rejection of his registration and probably on his candidacy before the Constitutional Council will be futile and without result. The Constitutional Council or the Supreme Court will pronounce their chronic and known jurisdiction over all Karim appeals. Will remain the balance of power in the field. But is Karim ready to impose a political balance of power to Macky Sall on Senegalese soil? Or will he continue to run his policy by proxy?

WHY KARIM MAINTAINS ITS CANDIDATURE?
To understand Karim's stubbornness of wanting to run in 2019, one has to wonder what Wade's son would have been if he had publicly renounced his political ambitions. He would be a mere ordinary citizen exfiltrated from the Senegalese political game. To avoid being excluded for the benefit of Idrissa Seck, Malick Gackou, Samuel Sarr, Omar Sarr, Abdoulaye Baldé etc., Karim continues to act to say: "I am here, I count" . Only in this way will it be a diplomatic challenge for Qatar. A Karim Wade without ambition, removed from the Senegalese political debate has no stake for Qatar. This is why, through the Wade-fils dossier, Doha directly influences the political game of Senegal. Nothing will be done without Karim Wade because he never gave up anything. And he has always been willing to bring down Macky Sall, personally in 2019, or by supporting a credible bid of his choice. Karim and Idrissa Seck spoke.
The former mayor of Thiès said so publicly on April 4, 2018. "Karim Wade called me to make a connection between his father and me," said Idrissa Seck. Karim did not deny this statement by the president of Rewmi despite the arrests of some tenors of the Pds who did not understand this solitary step of their candidate who opens negotiations with Idrissa without talking to the party. In addition to Idrissa Seck, the Wade spoke with Haguibou Soumaré who went to Doha to talk with them and solicit their support. Moreover, since the announcement of his candidacy, several tenors of the Pds have joined Haguibou Soumaré. One can mention Ms. Ngoné Ndoye former Liberal leader in Rufisque and former Minister. The interest of investing Haguibou as candidate of the Pds is that it will not intend to rob the party in case of victory or defeat in 2019.
While any other candidate responsible Politics will have the ambition to lead the Pds instead of Karim and his father. But the challenge is the 2019 presidential election but also the legislative elections of the same year and the 2024 presidential election. Only if the argument of Article L31 is used to dismiss Karim Wade, it will be difficult, if not impossible, for him to participate one day candidate for any election in Senegal. EQUATIONS WITH MANY UNKNOWNS

It is clear that in 2019, Mr. Wade could be the election arbitrator. His voting instructions will be strongly followed by his thousands of activists across the country. But will Karim make his dad an actor in the campaign at risk whose outcome is more than uncertain and despite everything? Time and age do not play in favor of the Pope of Sopi.
In 2019, Karim Wade intends to be the leader of the political game during the elections. He does not want Idrissa Seck and the other candidates to steal the show. Thus, even if his candidacy is refused, he intends to control the game by supporting a candidate that he can control as he pleases with the clear and decisive support of Me Wade. But Idrissa, who will not spit on a vote of Mr. Wade in his favor, will never agree to be under the control of Karim Wade. Then Karim Wade will put his marbles in the campaign of a candidate like Idrissa Seck who will risk tomorrow to escape his control because the former Prime Minister of Wade is not a man with straw.
And what he always refused to Me Wade, he will not accept from Karim Wade, while in case of rejection of his application, Wade son will need a candidate to him. We must insist on the remarkable work done by Omar Sarr since 2012. He never varied in his positions and in his fight for the safeguarding of the inheritance of Me Wade and in the fight against the injustice that this last one and its family suffer. Omar Sarr is the true guardian of the liberal temple. It will be difficult to find a better placed manager to be the candidate of the Pds invested with the blessing of Mr. Wade. It would be just right for him.

ME WADE MORE POLITICAL THAN HIS SON, KARIM
When Mr. Wade came to power in 2012, Karim emerged from the shadows. He has no known political base either at Point E or at Kébémer. His political aura is the result of his imprisonment by the Macky regime that created Karim from scratch. The alleged fearsome Karim Wade was born from the repeated awkwardness of Macky Sall. From 2000 to 2012, Karim Wade should be able to lead a city as Idrissa Seck had done in Thiés, Macky Sall in Fatick, Ousmane Masseck Ndiaye in Saint-Louis, Abdoulaye Baldé in Ziguinchor, Souleymane Ndéné Ndiaye in Guinguénéo etc …
It was when his dad left office that he gained political stature being between 04 walls in a prison. Karim has many sympathizers in the Pds and in Senegalese society. However, he is content with some support movements "Karimsites" that never weighed in the referendum of March 2016 and the legislative elections of July 30, 2017. Can they do a miracle in 2019? In addition, Karim did not know how to maintain excellent relations with all the tenors of the Pds who remained faithful to his father like Habib Sy, Babacar Gaye, Farba Senghor, Ousmane Ngom, Pope Samba Mboup, Aida Mbodji , Fada Diagne etc.
Karim is often a prisoner of his often false prejudices about some people in his father's party. In politics, one must know how to forgive and make concessions for the common good. Because it is a set that earns … But, Karim often relies on young people with no experience or academic or professional skills to deal with the management of its strategic policy. Wade Son suffers from a lack of organization, planning and political intelligence around him. And should he be humble to receive advice and listen to suggestions from people who speak to him. Humility can not be improvised. It's an innate quality.
The political battle does not take place on social networks like WhatsApp. It happens here in Senegal, Sandaga, Plateau, Thies, Touba, Ziguinchor, Bambey, Tivaouane etc. The remedies will not set Macky Sall back. Karim knows it! And President Macky Sall will put all the assets on his side to pass the first round.
It is a Lapalissade to say that in politics one needs financial means to support one's Party, its leaders and its support movements. Only in these conditions will Karim Wade be able to claim a successful homecoming. Otherwise, it would make a serious political error with unsuspected consequences, because it will have lost the balance of power. He therefore needs a good organization if he wants to create a balance of power to tip all the political and social forces on his side in order to take over Macky Sall.
