Mr. Jugnauth pointed out that recent advances in robotics, automatic programming and machine learning suggest that the adoption of AI can achieve important gains such as the steam engine propelled an industrial revolution, the Internet has revolutionized service and industry.

According to him, the Mauritian government has identified a number of growth levers for Mauritius, including good governance, investment in human capital, economic integration and innovation.
