The commune of Fatick responded this Saturday to the call of the head of state who invited the Senegalese to give their blood to fill the deficit at the level of the blood bank of Dakar.
The president of the platform of youth accompaniment of Senegal (Pajes) organized this Saturday, July 15 in Fatick, a blood donation to be in front line at this invitation of the head of the State. Thus political leaders of the town came to join the act to accompany the young city councilor.
The official ceremony of this day of blood donation was presided over by the Minister of Health and Social Action, Abdoulaye Diouf Sarr, who hailed this act which he described as symbolic. He invited other Senegalese to do the same.
Hundreds of blood bags were collected by the health care staff at the Fatick Health Center where the day was held.
