Minister Oumar Gueye announces other infrastructure projects for Elinkine, Kafountine, Bignona, Niaguiss, Diogué, Ziguinchor and Oussouye

The Minister of Fisheries and Maritime Economy has announced other projects for construction of fishing wharves and other infrastructure in the Ziguinchor region, not to mention in the towns and villages where fishing is the activity main. These new projects are called the 2b drive. It is a $ 400 million donation that is earmarked for the study of these fishing infrastructures. It is on the occasion of the laying of the first stone of the Boudody fishing pier in the city of Ziguinchor on Thursday that the Minister made this announcement.
The Boudody fishing wharf is 50% financed by the State of Senegal and for the rest it is the Kingdom of the Netherlands which has accompanied Senegal for the global financing up to 2,319,575,835 CFA francs. The work will last 1 year.
