Innovative innovation for Volkswagen vehicle owners: DataPlug can now be used in combination with the new Volkswagen Connect® application to transform almost all Volkswagen into modern connected vehicles. The "Ma Volkswagen" function provides an overview of all the useful data on the vehicle, such as fuel level, battery voltage and mileage. Scheduled maintenance and service intervals are also displayed on the smartphone. The vehicle warning messages available in the app can be viewed in the app, and can also be sent directly to the Volkswagen Partner if the user so wishes.
On many models, the fuel level tracking feature automatically detects each tank fill operation and calculates vehicle usage costs when the current fuel price is recorded. The parking function is particularly useful in unfamiliar cities because it allows you to remember exactly where the Volkswagen was parked. If necessary, the application guides the driver to find the corresponding location, which can also be transmitted to friends or family members in the form of GPS coordinates. In the event of a breakdown, the Volkswagen hotline 24 hours a day in the country concerned or a local Volkswagen Partner can be contacted directly from the app. Finally, the "challenges" received through the app inform the driver of the existence of new challenges and varied tasks for which rewards and virtual trophies are awarded, allowing to compare themselves to other Volkswagen drivers. Hidden Challenges of the "bonus" category must be realized in priority, add a little more fun.
