David Guetta, the Black Eyed Peas or Travis Scott are expected for the 18th edition of the Mawazine festival, which offers from Friday in Rabat a range of international artists from different musical worlds.
The festival "Mawazine rhythms of the world" takes place on half a dozen places of Rabat, at the mouth of the Bouregreg, on the site of Chellah, known for its remains of a Roman city, and in the nearby town of Salé .
The Spanish singer Rosalia, known for her fusion of flamenco and urban music, will open the ball on Friday on the "international" stage.
Electro superstar David Guetto will perform the next day, while Colombians Karol G and Maluma will close the festival on June 29th.
On the "African" stage, at the foot of the very touristy Kasbah of Oudayas, the Amazons of Africa and Kerry James are among the headliners.
The Mohammed V theater will host concerts by famous American bassist Stanley Clarke and Lebanese rock band Mashrou'Leila. Celebrities of Arab music will perform on the "oriental" stage.
Presented by its promoters as one of the largest festivals in the world, Mawazine will welcome in all a hundred artists.
