A new national airline is in the making in Gabon. The Gabonese authorities have initiated discussions with international partners some time ago.

After 28 years of Air Gabon liquidated in 2005, Gabon plans to create a new national airline. Discussions have already begun last month with potential partners of the Gabonese state in the conduct of this project.

It is the Saudi group, Nexus Aero International, which is very interested in dreaming Gabonese. In this context, a delegation led by its president and CEO was received, Friday, July 13 in Libreville, by the Minister of Transport and Logistics.

Justin Ndoudangoye was clear at the end of his meeting with the boss of Nexus . For him, Gabon could sign in the coming days an agreement for the creation of a new airline. "We prospected, and Nexus was shortlisted to be able to set up a business model with the Gabonese government that would lead to the feasibility of creating our national company" the Gabonese minister said. [19659003] After Air Gabon and the private company Gabon Airlines, will the new project to create an airline succeed in overcoming the failure of the past? Will be questioned. Hard to say. However, this comes 12 years after the signing in 2006 of a shareholder pact between the Royal Air Maroc Group and the Gabonese State.

Note that the partnership project to set up a new company called Air Gabon International, failed to materialize. Reason: The opposing economic visions between the two parties

Determined, the Gabonese authorities want at all costs to materialize this project. This time with other partners
