No gray area between the state and the FSF (Minister)

Dakar, Nov. 27 (APS) – Sports Minister Matar Ba denied on Tuesday that there is some gray area between the state and the Senegalese Football Federation (FSF).

Speaking at the national flag ceremony at the national beach soccer team, he assured that the authorities are working with the governing body of football "in all intelligence" and in the respect of the texts "for the interest of Senegalese football ".

Regarding national coach Aliou Cisse, he said that it is not up to him to extend his contract, the latter being "an agent of the federation", that "the state accompanies" to "[sa] indemnification […]".

"We are working seriously for the revaluation of Aliou Cissé's salary, which is quite normal compared to coaches in the sub-region," he said.

For the president of the Senegalese Football Federation, Augustin Senghor, "it is clear in our minds that Aliou Cissé must continue his mission".

"We have given him a job for four years and we are satisfied with the work he is doing," he said.

"We can not value our national coach without thinking of his close associates […]", he added.
