Official opening of FIDAK, Monday

Dakar, Nov 29 (APS) – Prime Minister Mahammed Boun Abdallah Dionne will proceed, Monday at 4 pm, to the official opening of the Dakar International Fair (FIDAK), at the International Center for Foreign Trade of Senegal (CICES) , announces a press release sent to the APS.

Opened this Thursday, the FIDAK 2018 will be held until December 16, on the theme: "The competitiveness of Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in developing countries, facing the challenges of globalization".

FIDAK is "the largest trade event in West Africa and has become an essential component of the economy as well as an important factor stimulating exports and imports from Senegal".

With a capacity of more than 2,000 exhibitors and 300,000 visitors, the FIDAK 2018 will develop a biodiversity area including endangered animal and plant species.

The text adds that driver's licenses, identity cards and passports will be issued during the event.

Also on the program are HIV, diabetes and hepatitis screening sessions, as well as free opthalmological consultations for visitors.

FIDAK will also bring together professionals through a scientific forum and actors in very diverse sectors of activity that expose different articles.

The press release underlines that the Dakar fair is aimed at both the general public and professionals, with the aim of making known the products or services offered by various structures and companies.

It is also a framework for direct contacts through B2B meetings, discover new products and test products.

Likewise, it also offers the opportunity to establish direct contacts, build a file through B2B and strengthen or improve its reputation and its image to the public.
