All football fans love the night of big European matches, especially this knockout. This usually happens from February … but for the Paris Saint Germain it's this Wednesday! The club of the capital will indeed play its qualification for the rest of the Champions League against Liverpool. At the Parc des Princes the men of Thomas Tuchel will have the difficult task of avoiding a resounding crisis, since elimination in the group phase would be a resounding failure. Moreover, the German would be in the front line in case of elimination of PSG at this stage of the competition. So, in your opinion, an elimination of the Champions League could be fatal for Thomas Tuchel ?

Should the PSG decide immediately or give Tuchel time?

Since the arrival of Qatari investors, no coach from Paris Saint Germain did not succeed at least in coming out of the pools in the Champions League. In case of defeat tomorrow, Thomas Tuchel could be the first! With the investments made and the potential of the team at its disposal, this could result in an incomprehensible mistake. Because on paper, the German has a workforce that would envy any European coach. Its tactical management and its positional changes, such as the possible establishment of Marquinhos midfield post, would be singled out. Yet, if with Unai Emery, Laurent Blanc and Carlo Ancelotti the leaders of the Paris Saint Germain have called for immediate results, this could change with Thomas Tuchel. The latter is a choice of the Qatari royal family, visibly seduced by his vision of football. Would it not be fairer then to give him time to set up his game project, certainly ambitious, before drawing any conclusions? Elimination in the Champions League would be a lesser evil, if he managed to install a real game plan at Paris Saint Germain, even if it came to go through the Europa League … and maybe a title at the end of the season.
