Open to all Africans and young businesses on the continent, this edition recognizes digital innovations to improve access to renewable energy and the development of sustainable agriculture.
Associated with the RFI issue "C'est pas du vent", presented by Anne-Cécile Bras, this year's competition aims to support the development of innovative digital services (websites, applications, SMS services, etc.) at the service of sustainable development in Africa

The winner will receive funding for the development of his project
Through this competition, RFI wishes to encourage and support innovation by stimulating and supporting young African companies and developers. Microsoft, Societe Generale, MTN and Africa Global Recycling, as well as African incubators of innovative companies are associated with the operation.

About the RFI Challenge App Africa:
Launched in 2016 the RFI Challenge App Africa is a competition, associated each year with an RFI program and delivered in a French-speaking African country, aiming to develop the citizen Internet by encouraging projects to services of general interest.
