The budget of the Ministry of the Digital Economy has increased by 8 billion 604 million 155 thousand 192 CFA francs, or 300.34%.

The Minister of the Solidarity Economy and Microfinance, Aminata Angélique Manga, appeared yesterday in front of the deputies. For its baptism of fire, the authority was mainly questioned on the management of funding programs such as the Platform for support to the private sector and the promotion of the diaspora (Plasepri). MP Mor Kane suggested to the minister the integration of the diaspora deputies in this project so that emigrants from countries other than Italy can benefit from it to make their return.
Reacting to this inquiry, Aminata Angélique Manga said that Plasepri is a state project in partnership with Italy. According to her, the state intends to further support projects of the diaspora. The latter is a priority target. "Last year, we gave two billion to Senegalese living abroad. We are open. And we are waiting for submissions. We work with banks and decentralized financial services. "Regarding recovery, she admits that" some refuse to pay after acquisition. " To end it, she plans to work more with financial institutions for "more security".
During committee proceedings, parliamentarians had expressed the wish to see the ministry take care of the financing of the Delegation to Rapid Entrepreneurship (Der). Aminata Angélique Manga believes that there is no rivalry with the Der. "We work in perfect harmony. The Der is a one-stop shop. We receive funding and disbursement to particularly support young people and women, "she said.
In executing its 2019 budget, it plans to focus on financial inclusion. "Through the Sfd, we will accompany and supervise applicants. The Promise is a $ 47 billion financing. No later than January 1st, the first disbursement will be made. "
In areas such as fisheries, agriculture and the processing of fishery and forestry products, the Minister is unveiling funding estimated at between $ 5 million and $ 500 million that can be released to support young people and women without "political coloring".
The draft budget of the Ministry of the Solidarity Economy and Microfinance was set at 11 billion 468 million 948 thousand 312 CFA francs against 2 billion 864 million 793 thousand 120 CFA francs in 2018, an increase of 8 billion 604 million 155 thousand 194 CFA francs in absolute value and 300.34% in relative value.
