FRANKFURT, Nov. 28 (Reuters) – Tom Patrick, boss of Deutsche Bank's US operations, is expected to leave the German bank, likely by the end of the year, two sources close to the case said on Wednesday.

Deutsche Bank is reorganizing its operations in the United States while its US subsidiary has failed the Federal Reserve's stress tests.

A spokeswoman for Tom Patrick in the United States declined to comment.

Deutsche Bank has made a series of changes in its management team this year with the departure of its chairman John Cryan, the institution seeking to return to profitability after three consecutive years of losses.

Tom Patrick was named by John Cryan.

Sylvie Matherat, head of regulatory affairs at the bank's headquarters in Frankfurt, is also under pressure, two sources told the story, adding that critics were growing in-house against her.

No decision is however expected before the next meeting of the bank's supervisory board in early December, said one source.

A spokeswoman for Sylvie Matherat did not wish to speak on the subject. (Tom Sims and Andreas Framke Claude Chendjou for French service, edited by Bertrand Boucey)
