XALIMANEWS: The budget of the Ministry of the Solidarity Economy and Microfinance for the financial year 2019 amounts to 11 billion 468 million 948 thousand 312 FCFA, against 2 billion 864 million 793 thousand 120 FCFA in 2018.
It thus records an increase is 8 billion 604 million 155 thousand 192 FCFA, in absolute value and 300, 34% in relative value.
According to the Minister of Solidarity Economy and Microfinance, Aminata Angélique Manga, the draft budget always expresses "political will and strategic choices".
Ms. Manga, whose remarks are reported by the report presenting the budget, assured that the creation in 2017 of its department "is one of the main innovations of government architecture."
"It reflects the will of the President of the Republic to make social and solidarity economy and microfinance levers at the service of financial and social inclusion," she added.
Ms. Manga also assured, for projects funded by her ministry, that the funding criteria "obey strict rules," pointing out that in reality, her ministry "is based on respect for fairness and transparency. "
"To be financed, a project must be able to create added value and jobs. Once a project is reliable and meets funding requirements, it will be enlisted, regardless of partisan considerations, "she said.
