The largest museum of art and antiques in the world will beat this year its attendance record. And since good news never arrives alone, the Louvre Museum will also offer free nightlife from January 5th!

The Louvre Museum should reach the 10 million visitors at the end of the year, beating his annual attendance record. Good news that comes with the launch of free nights on the first Saturday of each month.


Available from January 5, 2019, this new offer will primarily target the Parisians but also young people and families. In the program : 12 evenings from 6 pm to 9:45 pm, which will replace the first 6 free Sundays from October to March, the formula is abandoned, lack of success …

So you can freely visit the Denon and Sully wings, but also the Richelieu wing (only on reservation). Brass band, storytelling, sketching workshops, unexpected presentations of works and treasure hunts will complete the museum's visit to the first night of January 5th.
