While Sony continues to nibble market share in the wonderful world of professional photography, it is only this year that the two behemoths, Canon and Nikon will embark on what is in the success of Sony, a hybrid housing, therefore without a mirror and smaller, with a full-format sensor.
This is Nikon who draws first with a pre-announcement for the August 23rd. We obviously do not know much except that it is a hybrid camera that will offer a full-size sensor and a new mount. And who says new mount also says adaptation ring to use current objectives.
We also know that this is for professionals and it is likely to find characteristics from the sublime D850 as its sensor, its tropicalization, Bluetooth and WiFi, a touch screen and probably the same powerful autofocus. Nikon even put online a dedicated page that we invite you to discover.
