Tunisia: Soon a new service to end the unwanted advertising SMS

Tired of receiving unwanted advertising SMS? A new solution has been unveiled by the National Instance of Telecommunications (INT) could certainly help users of mobile services in Tunisia, embarrassed by these texts.

Indeed, this solution consists of stopping SMS advertising through a simplified and free service (SMS STOP), the Instance reports on its Facebook page.

A free number will be made available to mobile users to stop these annoying advertising SMS. Details on this service will be announced Thursday, November 29, 2018, at a press conference.

The design of this service was carried out by INT, the National Body for the Protection of Personal Data (INPDP), the Tunisian Internet Agency (ATI), the Consumer Protection Organization (ODC), the Chamber national union of value-added communication services, reporting to UTICA, the National Agency for Computer Security (ANSI), and telephone operators (Tunisia Telecom, Ooredoo, Orange Tunisia), as well as Landolsi Telecom Technology.
