Two soldiers killed in an armed attack

According to Source A, a robbery in the village of Djibanar (Sédhiou region) turned into a clash between soldiers of the 6th Infantry Battalion of the Senegalese army and elements believed to belong to the Movement of Democratic Forces of Casamance (Mfdc)

When questioned by the newspaper, Dirpa neither denied nor confirmed the information. Seneweb's attempts to contact Colonel Abdou Ndiaye, chief of the Dirpa, remained in vain.

According to Source A, clashes took place in the night from Friday to Saturday. They left two dead and four wounded on the side of the army while the attackers recorded dead and several wounded.
