Executives from the diaspora, led by journalist Jamil Thiam, established in Belgium last Saturday at Tivaouane Diacksao, launched a support movement for the re-election of President Macky Sall to the presidential election in February 2019. The people came from all the neighborhoods of the commune of Tivaouane Diacksao to answer the call of the journalist Jamil Thiam, son of the community, based in Belgium. Active in the Apr Benelux DSE since 2009, the journalist has put the baptismal font in motion to support the work of President Macky Sall. The official launch of this movement, composed of Diaspora cadres, essentially apolitical, took place on Saturday, November 24, 2018 in Lansar, in the municipality of Tivaouane Diacksao under the effective presidency of Pape Gorgui Ndong, Minister of Youth. The people, the neighborhood delegates, the women's groups, the youth and the craftsmen of the garage of Poste Thiaroye, have given her a warm welcome with great mobilization. A recognition of the impressive work he is doing at the grassroots level for the re-election of President Macky Sall, both in the most isolated areas of the suburbs of Dakar and in the most remote parts of the country. Speaking, the initiator of the movement, Jamil Thiam recalled his companionship with President Macky Sall, since the establishment of the DSE BENELUX in Belgium. "It is no surprise that I support President Macky Sall because I have always done so in the shadows, as he himself advised me in 2010. We have been at the heart of many successful battles, with Alioune Diop, Keyssi Bousso then Deputy Hamady Gadiaga, Jean Gabain Boissy of the Netherlands and currently with Ousmane War "he argues. According to him, the record of President Macky Sall is bright, enough to allow him to believe in reelection, with more than 60% of the vote. Some major issues related to the existence of Senegalese in the diaspora have been resolved. But not least, the balance is more than positive. That is why, Mr. Thiam will say that the leaders of the movement Macky FOREVER will not skimp on the means to communicate wisely on the conclusive achievements of the President of the Republic. According to him, supporting President Macky Sall remains an urgent necessity, given the development challenges on the horizon but also because of the immense work he has already done, in the construction for the emergence of the country. "We live in the diaspora, and we do know that emergence is no longer an empty word in Senegal. On the contrary, it has become a real prospect today, "Thiam said. For the journalist, the Macky FOREVER movement will lead mobilization actions, at the diaspora level and in Senegal. According to him, the only fight that prevails is the victory at 60% and this through mobilization and communication.
Speaker, Minister Counselor Bamba Kane, praised the sense of commitment of the journalist, a "shadow man" who has long worked for the president in Belgium. He also encouraged the members of the movement to continue in the concrete action, in Senegal and in the diaspora, for a re-election in the first round of President Macky Sall. The Minister declined the grand vision of President Macky Sall for Senegal.
Coming to chair the meeting, the Minister of Youth, Citizen Construction and Promotion of Volunteering, Pope Gorgui Ndong, congratulated the initiative taken by diaspora executives, led by the journalist Jamil Thiam, who decided to to invest their bases, particularly in Senegal and in the diaspora to work for the victory of the President of the Republic in February 2019. "I congratulate you Jamil for this renewed commitment alongside President Macky Sall," said the Minister. In the same vein, Mr. Ndong hailed the great mobilization of the people of Tivaouane Diacksao for the launch of the Macky Forever Support Movement including the youthful dynamism of Tivaouane Diacksaon actress in all the great fights for President Macky Sall.
Speaking of the assurance of an irreversible re-election of the President in 2019, Pope Gorgui Ndong emphasized that the achievements speak for themselves. Responding to an invitation from the Macky Forever Support Movement to chair the youth panel of the Senegalese diaspora scheduled for January 2019 in Brussels, the Minister of Youth responded favorably and launched a real perspective to work, even more so. with this youth from the diaspora.
The rally was preceded by a caravan organized by the youth of the Movement to sensitize the people of Tivaouane Diacksao, on the sponsorship and re-election of President Macky Sall.
