Revealed: The senior royal family including Prince Charles, William and Kate ALWAYS did not meet the Archie baby five days after his birth

  • Prince Charles and Camilla went on a trip to Germany this week
  • The couple with the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge did not meet Archie
  • Meghan's mother, Doria Ragland, Queen and Prince Philip met first
  • Older members of the family will visit the newborn at some point next week

The oldest members of the royal family have still not met the last-in, five days after his birth.

Prince Charles and Camilla, as well as William and Kate, did not visit the first child of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, the little Archie Harrison.

The seventh in line of the throne was born at 5:26 am Monday, and it had been hinted that grandfather Charles and his wife Camilla would be appealing to Meghan and Harry today, after returning from their trip to Germany.

The couple must now go next week. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge will not be far behind.

Addressing the Sun, Clarence House said that Charles and Camilla were going to visit in the coming days, while a Sussex spokesman said that William and Kate were on the agenda to return to Frogmore Cottage.

MailOnline has contacted Kensington Palace, but they have no comments yet.

Earlier this week, Prince William, 36, said he and Kate, 37, "were eager to meet their nephew".

Elsewhere, former rugby star, Mike Tindall, said he thought Harry would be a good father, especially when it came to changing jobs.

Mr. Tindall, 40, has two daughters with the daughter of Princess Anne Zara Phillips and said, "I think he'll be a good father."

The queen was the first member of the royal family to be introduced to the baby, along with Doria Ragland, mother of Prince Philip and Meghan Markle.

Harry and Meghan chose not to give courtesy to their son.

However, a royal decree taken by the grandfather of Queen George V in 1917, more than 100 years ago, means that Archie will automatically get the status of HRH, just like all the little ones children directly under the sovereign.
