Chrome uses more RAM because of the Specter patch

Google released a few days ago that Specter vulnerabilities fixes, triggered by this company, affect Chrome browser search for more memory.

Namely, it is the option Isolation of the site, which appeared under Chrome 67, which is used to protect against attacks that could occur due to the Specter vulnerability, and by through which hackers can access parts of memory that are generally unavailable. Negative consequence of this option, Chrome is currently spending more RAM on devices.

The company says that it's about increasing memory usage by 10 to 13% due to the increased number of processes going through the browser . The change applies to Windows, Mac and Chrome OS, and Google is already working to fix the problem.
