All other Toyota sold in Europe are hybrids

Japanese automakers do not accidentally dump diesel engines from Europe, with half of the Toyota being sold on the "Old Continent" in the first half of 2018.

The Japanese giant has sold 560,000 cars in Europe. this period, an increase of six percent over the same period last year.

Of this number, 257,000 Toyota sold in Europe are hybrids, a growth of 23% compared to 2017, accounting for 46% of total sales.

The numbers are even more impressive in Western Europe, where 58% of Toyota's hybrid discs are sold

Sales also saw Toyota's Toyota brand for seven per cent, of which 62 per cent were also hybrids, and even 99 per cent were sold in Western Europe.

Toyota in Europe sells its smaller Yaris, followed by a C-HR crossover, while the best-selling Lexus crossover is NX.
