In Montenegro, new cases of diabetes are diagnosed daily and between 50,000 and 60,000 people are registered, which means that almost every tenth or eleventh inhabitant has a type of disturbed glycoregulation, reported the NGO "Bring About Self ".
Today, a press conference and round table on the importance of prevention, information and support for people with diabetes took place in Podgorica, under the auspices of the Ministry of Health of Montenegro.

Internist – Endocrinologist, in front of the Diabetes Consultation Center of the Health Center, Dr. Dragan Likic, Head of the Disease Registry of the Public Health Institute of Montenegro, Ivan Milasevic, President of the Association "Diabetes Podgorica" / Diabetes and Milos Andrović, in front of the pharmaceutical company TBC Novo Nordisk.
"The panels emphasized the importance of prevention, then education, self-control and diabetes awareness, which are essential to prevent many complications."
