The taxi driver in front of the government, the traffic has stopped

In the center of Belgrade, a taxi driver started demonstrating and in the Nemanjina area traffic stopped.

About 20 taxi vehicles stopped the traffic with the government and, as they had announced, the protest should last from 16 to 18 hours.

Taxis say they are dissatisfied with the conditions in which they work and explain that the main reason for this event is that the state allows the application of CarGo in Belgrade.

They say that they have nothing against this application but oppose their work and want to protect their profession.

However, most taxi companies say they do not support this type of event.

This was confirmed by the Taxi Chamber of N1, stating that she did not support this type of protest and that people had decided this move.
