Infrastructure Minister Zorana Mihajlovic met with representatives of the Chinese company Shandong about a possible cooperation in the new construction project of the Belgrade highway. -Zrenjanin.
"Cooperation between Serbia and China in the field of infrastructure has been around for a long time, and all the projects we are implementing together are working effectively and can be examples of many other investors in Serbia," said Mihajlovic.
She stressed that the priority at this stage of the realization of the new project was to prepare a comprehensive project and technical documentation and that, in the coming period, the financing models of construction of Belgrade-Zrenjanin highway would also be discussed.
At the meeting attended by China's ambassador to Serbia, Mr. Li Mangang, Shandong representatives said they were ready to cooperate with the Serbian government for the implementation of this project.
The project to build a new 66-kilometer-long motorway through the Vojvodina will allow the merger of Belgrade, namely Borca and Zrenjanin, and will contribute to the successful completion of the investments begun and the attraction of new investments to Zrenjanin. and Banat, announced the Ministries of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure.
