At the present time, snow falls throughout Serbia and the yellow weather alarm is in effect for Vojvodina and eastern Serbia. For the rest of the country, it is orange, depending on the intensity of the fall and the formation of a snowpack. What follows us by the end of the week is a glorious day, with temperatures of -14, then a "crazy" reversal is expected when the temperature exceeds 10 degrees Celsius.

Until it happens, pay attention today if you are in traffic because the cars are wet, slippery, the visibility is reduced, according to the meteorologists, and it is advisable to remain cautious .

As shown in the map of Serbia published on the website of the RHMZ, the yellow alert is in force in Backa, Banat, Serbia, Belgrade, Pomoravlje and in eastern Serbia, while it is orange Sumadija, southeastern Serbia, south-west Serbia and Kosovo-Metohija.

As they clarify on the RHMZ website, the yellow meteoalarm indicates a potentially dangerous moment. Weather forecasts are not unusual, but caution should be used, while for orange is a dangerous time and weather conditions are such that they can cause property damage and be dangerous for the weather. "Zlatibor, it's 20 centimeters of snow"

In practice, today, according to weather forecaster Djordje Djuric of Weather2Umbrella, the snow cover in Serbia is 5 to 20 centimeters as high as in Zlatibor.

The snow falls all day

At the same time, the RHMZ is planning an increase of snow in the mountains.

– Today, the snow will fall all day long. It will slowly begin to weaken at the end of the day and is expected to end during the evening. All this is conditioned by the passage of the hurricane from the south of the Adriatic to the Aegean Sea. Its center is currently in southern Serbia, which conditions the breakthrough of this cold air from the north – he explains.

According to him, the temperatures are 0 to 2 degrees throughout the country and less and less in all the mountains. It is the coldest in Kopanik, where we measured -6 sepens of Celsius.

– With the cessation of this snow, the temperature will drop throughout the country. It will be cold Thursday morning. The morning temperature will be -9 in the south, up to 0 at the top. Maximum daily from 0 to 3. During the day, the weather will be dry but cold, says Djuric.

Friday is very cold, and even basketball

According to Đurić, we will freeze on Friday because there will be -14 degrees Celsius in the south, 6 in the north and 8 in Belgrade.

– It will be dry, with sunny intervals. A solid basket blows in the area to bask. The temperature will not exceed 0 and will be from -5 to -8 the highest daily, says the meteorologist.

"Weekend warmer, so more 10"

As he says Saturday, it will be significantly warmer after a cold morning.

– There will be morning frosts, but during the day warmer. The temperature will be zero in the north and seven in the south. Sunday from 5 to 10 degrees Celsius. The following week will be followed by a milder weather, with maximum temperatures above 10 degrees, said the interlocutor.
