NIŠ – Slavoljub Pavlović, 62, from Niš, was miraculously left alive and suffered only minor injuries. After being fellow countryman Nikola A. (28) on Monday morning at the Durlan Market, he was hit three times with a blunt side of the ax.
Pavlovic survived a stroke 18 years ago. Any injury to the head can have unimaginable consequences, but for the moment, fortunately, he has died without serious injury and putting his life in danger.
It testifies that the attack was "without cause" until the Accused attempted murder in addition to his complaint.
– I was at home at Durlan Market where I sell vegetables. I know only the attacker of sight, because he brings to the market of the nuts and the fruits which he offers to the salesmen to the purchase and who acquires who knows where. He went to my office with a woman. However, after five meters, he stopped and came back.
He asked me without any reason: "What are you looking at my wife's? Do you want to fight me now?" I told him nice to watch someone go by near my desk, but also that no one beat me since a small one, so he would not do it. However, he continued to provoke us, so we headed out of the market. We stood side by side, so I asked him, "You want to beat me, now you can beat me, I did not come here to fight," Slavoljub said to his head after the attack wrapped in bandages.
As Nikola did not attack him here, Slavoljub said he returned to his thesis.
– I thought it was over. However, shortly before my testament, came the woman who was with him. Then she started provoking me: "What are you looking at me? Are not you a pedophile?" I also told him to look at everyone who passed by my desk and came out of my chair, when I heard my colleague next to me tell me, "Look at Calais." Then I realized that his wife only came to distract me and made me get up, but it was already late. I felt the blows on the right side of my head.
Slavoljub stated that the attacker struck the blunt side of the ax two or three times and immediately began to bleed. He also said that his hat probably mitigated the blows.
– I caught my bloody head and headed to the police station on the other side of the street to report the assault. He stood on the side and continued to call me and provoke, "Come on, come on …" I bleed enough on the place of the injury, which is seen in the wardrobe that I'm had on me – said Slavoljub.
He went to the police station and reported an attack. He was then taken to the KC emergency center in Niš for further diagnosis and care.
– Fortunately, I did not touch the left because in 2000, I had a stroke when my brain aneurysm broke out. On this side, I have a plastic plate and a net in the skull – adds Slavoljub.
As we know, the police are looking for Nikolai A. (28 years old) with Nis, suspected of trying to kill Slavoljub, hit in the head. Despite injuries suffered by Lake Slavoljub, the office of the senior prosecutor in Niš felt that it was an attempted murder.
