The famous British cyclist Kris Frum stayed in a hospital in France after a fall during which he suffered multiple fractures and did not want to provide a fifth record in his fifth title of the Tour de France next month.
The Frum was transferred to a hospital in Saint-Etienne, in central France, and was wounded Wednesday by a wall. He was driving at 54 km / h during the warm-up of the fourth leg of the Kriterium race at Dofine.
This traditional race is the preparation of the Tour de France, the highest three-week race with which Frum and his coaches from the Sky team, now INEOS, have dominated in recent years.
Frum (34) is fractured right leg bone, an elbow and several ribs. He was in intensive care and had surgery for several hours. His INEOS team has already excluded him from the Tour.
