The Administrative Court quashed a decision dismissing Karađorđević's claim for reimbursement or compensation for the White Palace Complex. The agency of restitution will decide again on this request and will decide on a financial compensation, reports Novosti.

He annulled and ordered the ministry to abolish the first instance decision of the Agency, which had totally rejected Karadjordjevic's application. It is true that the decision was annulled because, in the opinion of the Administrative Court, Karađorđevići is not entitled to a natural return of the White Palace, but is compensated, said Ivana Živković, director of the 39, regional unit of the Belgrade Agency for restitution.
This means that the state will definitely remain the owner of the Dvor and that Karađorđevići will receive compensation when making compensation decisions and for other property to which he is legally entitled. The future goal of the White Palace will be determined by a special law.
