Inspectors from Belgrade's third Criminal Police Department arrested Shardi Yashari (22) on suspicion of committing the crime of serious murder.

Jashari was arrested after the death of his five-month-old baby at Zemun Hospital.

At autopsy, it was confirmed that the baby had a fractured ribs and numerous blood vessels to the head and hands.

Upon his arrest, Jashari pleaded guilty.

According to the order of the higher prosecutor's office, he was determined to hold up to 48 hours.
