The French actor Gerard Depardje, aged 69, was interrogated in a police station as part of an investigation into the rape of a woman who raped her and sexually harassed her police sources told the foreign press.
Depardia is accused of being on August 19 of this year raped a young actress at her home in Paris.
The actor was questioned, but he was not placed in custody, sources said confirming information previously published by RTL.
An actress whose name was not announced this year reported that Depardia, 69, had sexually assaulted her at home in Paris in early August of this year.
"Gerard Depardia absolutely denies any attack and any rape," said his lawyer, Erve Temim, to the French press, adding that he was confident that the innocence of his client would be confirmed.
