Google has demonstrated a new method of logging, in which users must switch to a special device – a hardware key, so that they can access their command on a computer or laptop.

The key, titled Titan Security Key, will initially be available to users of the Google Cloud service, then to all interested users via the Web Store. from Google.
The purpose of the hardware key is to improve the security of the drive. The user can only play the game if the hardware key is nearby.
For some time now, the company has been offering other security methods, including two-step verification via mobile application or text message.
Titan Security Key will be available in two versions: one connects to a computer via USB, while the other uses Bluetooth for a good connection to a mobile phone.
The device has a special firmware that checks if Google tries to connect correctly. The hardware keys use the FIDO standard and also work on different sites.
