"Rolls Royce" has introduced the first SUV car model in its history at this year's auto show in Belgrade. The reason Serbia is proud of this fact is that one of the designers who worked on this model is Pavle Trpinac, from Belgrade.
After graduating from Belgrade's third high school, Pavle is enrolled in the Faculty of Applied Arts of the Department of Industrial Design. After completing his studies in Belgrade in 2004, he completed a masters degree in Germany, where he started working as a car designer, first at Škoda and Audi, then at BMW in 2007, after which he is found in a team of designers. worked on luxury models of the brand "Rolls Royce".
As he said in the interview that he gave at the auto show, the coming of this event awakens the most beautiful emotions.
– The return to the Belgrade motor show wakes me up in fond memories of my childhood during my first visit to this fair with my father. This event obviously had an impact on my future life and today, I am extremely proud to be part of the Belgrade Motor Show, "he said.
What is particularly striking in his creative work is the fact that he lives in Belgrade and Munich. His work is greatly enriched, both having a great influence on the creativity that lives in it.
– I am very happy that Belgrade and Munich are the cities where I lived. I think it helped me to broaden my horizons and get to know them better. The fact that these two cities are in many different ways just makes me more comfortable and makes things more interesting – Business Luxury magazine said in an interview.
This is not the first time that Pavle has represented the prestigious luxury car manufacturer at the Belgrade Motor Show. Namely, a few years ago, he also appeared at the fair in front of the design team "Rolls Royce" who designed the Ghous and Wraith models.
As for working in a well-known automotive company, he said in an interview with Top Speed that this was the fulfillment of his boyfriend's dream.
– Become a member of the Rolls-Royce design team and work on a car as special as Wraith, events far beyond any boy's dreams. I still remember when I saw Rolls Royce for the first time for five or six years. I've always played cars and I've been able to spend hours drawing cars. There are probably not many professions that have such continuity in children's favorite activities, but do not forget that drawing a car is a way to record, develop and communicate the idea …
But to come to this idea is a complex way in which there is nothing childish. The same goes for the realization of this idea, but whatever the seriousness of this work, it is just as exciting – from the first promising sketch to the models based on the ideas recorded in these sketches, gradually moving to perfection and Perfectly. tools and first prototypes. I do not think there's a designer who is immune to that particular feeling that eyes are shining, and that's when the model or prototype is seen for the first time, or learn something again and gain new experiences – he then told Top Speed magazine, adding that the cars were always fascinating and, as the main "culprit" of his love, he blamed Dusan's father for sparking him. interest of the car and interest.
In the same interview, he also talked about his career as a designer in the auto industry, claiming that his favorite project was to work on another luxury car from the Rolls-Royce family, Wraith.
– It's surely Wraith! Because it was the first production car I was involved in, it would be special for me, but it's more than that, because it's kind of the realization of the car of my dreams. Contrary to the general opinion that every vehicle starts with a breathless leak and then flows gradually until it reaches production, the strong character of this model is already visible in the first sketches and it was getting stronger as the project progressed. It was as if it was a distillation process that resulted in the purest expression of our intentions and desires. In addition, Wraith is the product of an extraordinary team and I am honored to belong to it. I remember many beautiful memories of his creation, whenever I see him, said Pavle, adding that he found inspiration to draw in the story of Rols Royce. as well as the fact that the company tries to keep them in inspiring and relevant positions that greatly influence its creativity through the cooperation of teams in Britain and Germany.
