KFOR announced today that it will carry out "exercises in northern Kosovo in the coming days".

This has been posted on the official KFOR Facebook page.
– KFOR troops will begin and deploy along main roads in accordance with the mandate of UN Security Council Resolution 1244. This is a normal activity, which has nothing to do with a particular threat or concern. The situation is under control and KFOR continues to protect all citizens of Kosovo, as it has been doing since 1999 – KFOR writes in this social network.
– The exercises are already underway, but it is not a special activity or military, it is rather to ensure that the movements of our vehicles, patrols, are more visible. So, there is no military activity, these are not exercises like the ones you had in Serbia – said KFOR spokesman Vincenzo Graso.
Asked about the launch of the exercises, he replied "that there is no particular reason" and the expected duration of its duration, Graso has not had a precise answer.
