Formerly LG participated in the manufacture of panels OLED for the company's unveiled iPhone models of Apple . Now, new information reveals more details about it
The latest report claims again that LG will provide between three and four million OLED panels for Apple later this year. It is confirmed that these panels are intended for a larger 6.5 inch iPhone X Plus phone and that screens will be produced in the company's E6 factory in South Korea. The report also states that LG will also capture the bulk of the 6.5-inch OLED panel in 2019.
LG Display will also play a major role in making a 6.1-inch iPhone cheaper.
In addition to the LG Display, LCD screens will also be produced by Japan Display, while most of the OLED panel will be Samsung's charge.
