The violation was discovered in the luggage of a 54-year-old Belgrade man from Ljubljana.
After passing the passport control, the passenger headed for the green check, indicating to the customs officers that he had nothing to report.
The control of his hand luggage was found by the new brand of women's watches "massacred" in the original box, announced the customs administration in a statement.
The passenger told the customs officers that he had bought the watch for a gift and that he did not know that he should report it and pay the import duties for him.
