In a previous statement, the boy claimed that his director and coach had allowed him to swim in Silver Lake, and later banished them.

The next major hearing will be heard by other boys because some of them have so far failed to testify. This trial in the court of first instance of Velika Gradišta is reiterated by decision of the court of appeal of Kragujevac, which appeals to the four accused.

Due to the serious crime against the general safety, the owners of pedals Milanka and Dragan Stanković of Nis were convicted last September for two years because they rented them to minors without protective jackets, while Rače's director of Karadjordje, Zoran Jovanovic, and coach Milos Gajic, sentenced to one year in prison.

For this criminal offense, the law provides for a term of imprisonment of one to eight years. The tragedy occurred when the brothers, although not swimmers, descended to the water from the pedal, along with four others.
