The cold happened, but it was not ready for all schools. Namely the primary school "Stefan Nemanja" in Belgrade – there is no heating. So 350 students have no education for four days. The parents' council agreed that Monday's students take classes in the nearby military gymnasium for up to a week until the heating problems are resolved.
This class is not empty in the middle of the school day because of an educational strike. There are no students on the benches because the radiators are ice-free.
"The heat does not work on Monday," says Andrijana Milidrag, the champion's mother.
Adela Karasi Todorovic, mother of champions, says that she does not have enough hard words to describe how helpless they feel.
They are desperate mother students. They recall: 21st century and the school is cold. And that in Belgrade Senjak.
"It's an exclusive place, we pay extra taxes and the child does not have a warm classroom," says Adela Karasi Todorovic.
Because the boiler is reinforced. Believe it or not, but this school, like the rural schools, has a boiler room that, according to parents, is already the eighth winter down. Sometimes, heat and work. And then the smell of the senses smells.
"My child asks – Mom is what you feel on a ham.I say: this is not a ham, it's smoke, because the school is polluted by carbon monoxide "said Andrijana Milidrag, a parent.
And the solution is at your fingertips. In June, according to parents, the gas connection would have arrived in the school yard.
"The gas has reached the school, it remains to be connected, and this" only "lasts eight years," said Milidrag.
In the capital's education secretariat, it says N1 – the paperwork was outstanding, but by the beginning of 2019, the gasification of the school will be 100% complete.
"That would be nice, how can I tell you when we tell you six months that we could not do it, and next week – we'll do it, I'm in the phase, like – come yesterday or – come on a day of On Wednesday, we will at least solve the problem – in other words, I do not think so, "says Jelena Ignjatov.
And when will the children be in school? This is not known One of the options is the nearby military gym.
"But we have heard that it is impossible to go to the military gym, because there is no heating there," says Jelena Ignjatov, mother.
This is not true, they answer the secretariat and offer parents the option – a military gym as much as tomorrow or the boiler repair for the students to give their last name without moving.
"The question arises as to why, the problem has existed for so long, what is hiding behind the scenes," said Adela Karasi Todorovic.
They ask their parents because they fear that the school is "under the umbrella". They say – they circulate stories that the land is intended for a foreign investor.
Temporary migration to the military gym was accepted
Tonight, at Stefan Nemanja's school, there is held an extraordinary meeting of the Parents Council, where it was decided that Monday's students would take classes in the nearby military gym.
It was agreed that the transfer of students would last a maximum of one week, that the heater was to be installed at that time and that an analysis of the carbon monoxide contamination of Stefan Nemanja's school had completed to allow students to return to their school.
At the Belgrade Education Secretariat, they confirmed for N1 that the children are continuing their studies at the military high school and deny that the Stefan Nemanja school is sold.
