According to the latest data from the Pension Fund, a total of 175,479 farmers received in April a pension of 11,249 dinars on average. Retirees who obtained a self-employment pension in private companies received a pension of 25,839 dinars at the same time. Currently, these pensioners in Serbia represent 5.5% and 94.914 respectively.
The highest pension, an average of 28,213 dinars, was collected by retirees in the category of employees. They represent the largest category with a total of 1.4 million pensioners (84.2% of the total number of pensioners in Serbia).
The average pension in April was 26,342 dinars. Observing the territory, the pensioners in Vojvodina had the highest average pension of 26,927 dinars, followed by 26,183 dinars in central Serbia and 24,895 dinars in Kosovo and Metohija. Observing the cities, pensioners in Belgrade received in April a pension of 33,754 dinars, 31,690 dinars for Novi Sad, 28,594 dinars in Pancevo and 27,177 dinars in Subotica.

In April, 2,667 pensioners received a pension of more than 100,000 dinars, while about 4,700 pensioners had a pension of between 90,000 and 100,000 dinars, according to the latest data from the Pension Fund.
In Serbia, men are currently retiring at age 65 and 15. The new law on the retirement of women came into force in January of this year. The milder kind has to work for 62.5 years and the border will be moved every three to six months each year. Practically, and the ladies of our country will retire from 2032 to 65 years.
With regard to premature retirement, the real men in 2019 can reach 57 years and six months of life and at least 40 years of service. Women realize this year the right to early retirement if they are 57 years old and 38 years old and six months of insurance.
Nikola Altiparmakov, member of the Tax Council, said that citizens often did not understand the necessary changes and that, according to him, we are late in Serbia with the last change in age limit.
