The benefits of the promotion of "Dina Card" on the national payment card that will be issued to all users of current accounts in Serbia will finally citizens using its funds to go to the budget of Serbia, but also because

You should also think about it – every time you use the "Dina Card", which will be issued as a national payment card with all the current accounts of August 17, in the budget Serbia is going 2.16 dinars.

The news that "Dina Card" will become both the commitment of all those who have a current account in Serbia has attracted the attention of the public, but the very fact that the legislature forced us to do something. Immediately with the question of what is behind the new law on interbank fees and what it brings to the citizens.

Technically, payment card users will change this change almost and will not feel it. Little by little, everyone who has a current account will receive a new "Dina card" at the same time. Whoever wants it, the bank can ask for another one.

The fact is that the domestic "Dina Card" on the local payment card market is weakly quoted compared to international ones. "Dinu" currently holds 12% of users, "Visa" 60% and "Mastercard" 25%

According to the director of the Institute of Economics Ivan Nikolic, new legal solutions introduce more competition between payment card operators. This gives virtually every user of banking services that they own a "Dina card", and if she will use it, we'll see. What does it bring to the state? That's because, since it's a national card, every transaction and profit from these transactions will be transferred to the budget, which has not been the case until here, "says Nikolic for Sputnik.

The state will therefore have many more benefits, he adds. But not only the state. According to the National Bank of Serbia, the cost of the banking system for 2017, according to the international card schemes, amounts to more than 30 million euros, although up to 97 percent of all card payments Serbian citizens referred to payments in Serbia, and only 3% abroad. It is already a direct economy.

Due to the use of international payment cards, currently 87% of Serbian payment cards are processed in Serbian payment systems without any knowledge from some of our competent institutions. According to consumers, interbank fees will be six times lower, according to Mr Sputnik's interlocutor. It will be limited to a maximum of 0.2% for debit cards and 0.3% for credit cards.

Our banks issued more international cards because they received higher fees. While the tariff of "Dina System" was 2.16 dinars, which will now go to the budget of Serbia, it was 8.2 dinars and 12 dinars for the two most famous international card brands that are used in the country.

The fee, however, did not pay the card system but was already incorporated in the cost of the goods and practically paid for by the consumer in Serbia. Therefore, the reduction of this interbank clearing, ie the equalization of conditions, should also affect the reduction of the price of goods and services

"On the one hand, this will directly affect traders, that is, producers pay for the collection of their services and the profit will have a budget and that is what is expected. We will see if the use of the 'card Dina "will disappear so much that the payment card market will change significantly," added Nikolic, who believes that it is unlikely that a reduction in sales prices will be short-lived [19659003] even in the first meeting, the traders and those who sell their products can feel this, "says the economist

The trader, under the new legal solutions, will not be obliged to receive all cards from payment but will have the freedom to not to accept those who have unacceptable costs for it and it is more expensive to buy goods or services that are ultimately paid for by consumers.

So we expect that a greater number of small traders, craftsmen who have so far refused all card payments, precisely because of the expensive cards for them, decide to According to Nikolić's assessment, this should also lead to the reduction of the gray economy as it will be motivated to carry out transactions in this manner.

After all, the most developed countries in the EU have had their own national card systems for decades. the same thing – at the market

The other good side of the "Dina Card" will be that it will also be able to be used for payments abroad, thanks to an agreement with the most large financial services company and the Chinese card company payment of "Tea Junion Pei", notes Sputnik.

"A new space will be opened, and the payment capacity of Dina Card will be expanded, which will also make it worthwhile in national and international transactions with 'Visa & # 39; and' Mastercard 'Nikolic said.

Thanks to an agreement with the Chinese card company, a joint card "Dina Card Tea Junion Pei" will be created, which can be used everywhere on the wider network "Tea Junion Peja" in more than 160 countries.
